Linear Bearing Housing Installation Guide

Preparation Tools: Hex keys, screws (M4/M5/M6), level, cleaning cloth.

Installation Steps:

1. Mount the Support Blocks Place the blocks on the mounting surface and loosely fix them with screws. Do not tighten fully yet.
2. Insert the Linear Shaft Carefully slide the shaft through the support blocks.
3. Align for Perfect Coaxiality (Most Important) Adjust the position of the blocks so the shaft rotates and moves smoothly with no resistance or binding.
4. Final Tightening Once aligned, tighten all screws evenly in a cross pattern.

Key Tips:

• Ensure both (or all) supports are perfectly aligned.
• Recommended distance between supports: ≤ 300–400mm.
• Clean the shaft surface before installation.
• Test by sliding bearings smoothly along the entire length.

Common Issue: If the shaft doesn’t move freely → readjust alignment and re-tighten.
